The Council of Elders lives within the Main Keep as well. The Council room is on the main bottom floor, all the way at the back. Before
that, directly in the center of the building, is the ballroom, two stories high
with a large wide balcony on the northwest, north, and west walls of the second
story. Two wide curving staircases lead up to the ballroom balcony from the
main entrance hall, which also holds the main double doors to the ballroom.
The keep itself is entered thru two main double doors, which are held open at
all times except during the harshest weather.
Elder apartments are on the first floor on the left side of the Keep, while
servant rooms such as the kitchens and laundry are on the right side of the
building. Senior MagiKnight and guest suites are on the second floor of the
keep on the left and right sides of the building. On the third floor, servant
quarters can be found.
These are the knights that have already proven themselves and
taken their oaths. They have chosen which Magi path they wish to follow, whether
it be Healer, Teacher or Warrior. And they spend most of their time out of the
Keep, in their solitary lives, following their mission and carrying their cause,
the cause of balance, with them.
**OOC: these characters are up for grabs. Email me if you want
to play one.
Magi Healer Elder: Aram Kashil. A trained doctor from a large city,
he grew disgusted with the ton practice of bleeding a patient. When he
was but 20, and Caesia 13, he came to the town of Merriglen. For five years
he lived there and saw the the needs of the town folk and forest folk. A new
mayor, some fop that moved to town from a minor city, revived the practice of
blooding the ill. When Aram disagreed, the mayor ordered him from the village
walls. When Aram left, so did Caesia, her long time crush sustaining her thru
their long travels and Aram's ill humor and moods.
Fellow Healers: Caesia Lar'Tock,
Mrithvin Des'Nee,
Lorei GentleTouch,
Nix Nix.
Magi Warrior Elders: Matherin and Eangelle. These two sisters, both
born and raised among a tribe of amazon Gondals, are by far the fiercest of
the Magi Warriors. They both tower over 6 feet in height, and their arms are
as thick as the average human male's. They wear their hair pulled back, with
all the hair at the level of their ears and below shaved. The tail remains of
their hair is left in a long braid, reaching past their waists. Constantly together
astride their magnificent beasts, when they are not sweeping the land in pursuit
of some fiend, they reside at the Keep and train the horses and the Knights
in how to ride them. Their war-steeds, trained from birth to ride under one
master alone, are among the best in manner of all the horses in the surrounding
areas. The necessary training is time consuming, and the girls often simply
tell a knight to do something, and then leave him with months to perfect the
doing of that task. Their training methods seem to be working.
Fellow Warriors: Rishtar,
Dram Bellkor,
Brock Garen,
Brant Loreth.
Magi Scholar Elder: Guile Debernai. Eldest son of a well to do merchant
family, his leaning towards books instead of to trade earned him the loss of
his family. They refuse to recognize him as kin to them, and the strain drove
him to seek the priests of the local religion. While studying to become a priest,
he grew to learn and enjoy teaching what he learned. Still following his priestly
vows, Guile does his best to convert those who stay at the keep to some semblance
of religion, much to the amusement of all.
Fellow Scholars: Grisham Hamil,
Sora Khellthri,
Bri Cress Songtide,
Antonius Mac'Eernay.
